Building: pieces, materials and costs
Place a piece, build it, the 23 pieces of the wheel, the 4 materials and the cost of every piece.
04 Placing a piece
A hologram shows you where the piece will go

Green: good to go · the arrow points to the outside

Red: refused, the reason is written
TipPieces snap to each other on their own. Foundation on a slope: PgUp / PgDn, its legs sink into the ground.
WarningWooden wall: follow the arrow, the log face goes outside. The other side is the weak side (see “Raids: bullets & melee”).

Too many materials? The surplus goes back into your inventory (at your feet if it is full).
An item under a ghost?Aim at it: you can pick it up through the ghost.
Forgotten construction site?Removed after 1 h, materials dropped next to it. Empty hands: remove it yourself.
Why?The construction site reserves the spot: you can bring the materials in several trips, or as a team.

Foundations
Twice the HP of a wall. Brick is indestructible… but falls if what holds it up falls.
Why?The tougher it is, the rarer and the more expensive to build and to maintain. Your call what you protect best.
