Classic DayZ base building is still there, alongside the rebuildable houses: fences and gates, watchtowers, flag pole. It follows the same raid hours as the houses.

Combine the rope with the short sticks (or sharpened sticks) and pick the kit. Kit in hands: position it, then place it. Not allowed underground.

Frames and walls are built with a hammer or hatchet, and dismantled with a crowbar, hatchet, splitting axe, firefighter axe or pickaxe. The gate itself is invulnerable: raiders go for the walls. While a lock is on it, it can’t be dismantled.

Each wall goes up like a fence wall: lower and upper frames (4 planks, 8 nails each), then wood (5 planks, 10 nails) or metal (3 sheet metal, 12 nails). Each level sits on the floor of the one below.
Flag pole
Within 60 m, the flag keeps your items from despawning: their lifetime is refreshed every 5 days. It slowly lowers; fully raised, it lasts 40 days. It isn’t needed to rebuild a house.
