Raids: schedule and rules
When and how to raid on Kaizen Nasdara: raid hours, indestructible parts, what actually works.
On Kaizen Nasdara, our PC server, building is the base game’s (DayZ 1.30, rebuildable houses included). Three things change: raiding is only open during set hours, it is done with bullets and explosives, and some house parts are indestructible.
These rules apply to the Kaizen Nasdara PC server. Kaizen Nasdara (No Rules) is a console server (PlayStation): they don’t apply there.
Raid hours
The week at a glance
Paris time. Outside these hours, no structure takes any damage: fences, gates, watchtowers and rebuilt houses. Anyone who tries gets a “Raid not possible” message with the time of the next raid.
What can be raided, and what never can
Raidable during raid hours
- Wooden and metal doors
- Wooden walls, wooden door and window frames included
- Vanilla base building: fences, gates, watchtowers
Never raidable, at any time
- Anything made of brick: walls, door and window frames, and barricades (entrances bricked up in place of a door)
- Windows (shutters), wooden and metal alike
- House roofs, which are also the ceiling and the upper floor

Brick wall: “Raid not possible”, at any time (French game client).

Metal door: it can be raided with bullets and explosives, during raid hours.
What to raid with
What damages a structure
Melee hits and the chainsaw never damage structures, at any time. Sawing a lock is refused outside raid hours and on indestructible parts.
Plastic explosives, placed against the part
| Part | Charges |
|---|---|
| Wooden door or wall (house) | 2 |
| Metal door (house) | 3 |
| Wooden fence wall | 1 |
| Metal fence wall | 2 |
| Brick (walls, barricades), window, roof | indestructible |
At 1.5 m a charge only deals a quarter of the damage; beyond 3 m, nothing at all. The blast only hits the exposed part: nothing goes through a wall or a floor.
